Happy Thanksgiving

Jara, Emma Kate, and myself just returned from a fabulous Thanksgiving celebration at Daniel and Lindsay's house. We had not seen Jacob, Isaac, or Judson since the summer and it was wonderful to get to see them. Emma Kate thoroughly enjoyed all of the boys. She talked and talked to Judson, but he didn't like it all that much as you will see in one of the videos. David, AKA Spike flew in from Jackson to visit with us and John came from Liberty. So, everyone was there :-)

Emma Kate's 1st Halloween and Time alone with Daddy

The top pictures are of Emma Kate when I was working and Jara was in charge. He could not find the clothes I had packed for her, so he dressed her up in what he could find. He did pretty good. The Halloween pictures are of the card that Grammy and D-Dad gave Emma Kate. She really enjoyed the envelope.

Fall 2008

Well, I know it has been awhile since I have posted any pictures. My parents are still graciously allowing us to live at their house while we are trying to get ours ready to move into. We were really wanting to be in there by Christmas, but it is not looking good so far. As anyone who has done any remodeling or moved and having a 7 month old it is quite difficult and busy. Mom and Dad have helped us out so much. They have both kept Emma Kate at one time or another or they have been helping at one of the houses. We have been so thankful for their generous hearts. Emma Kate was enjoying the wonderful fall weather while Grammy was flying her like an airplane.

Ok, here she was fed up with the pictures. See, she is not always smiles. Just most of the time.

Bailey had to come and check out what we were doing. When ever Emma Kate is out and about Bailey is right there with her.

Emma Kate is teething and she thoroughly enjoyed chewing on Jara's belt.

Give me more water, please!

Emma Kate 6 1/2 months old. 14 lbs. 4 oz 25 1/4 inches long. She has her first cold and is still the cutest thing you have ever seen. She gets in our bed every morning because she gets up way to early for us.

She loves her feet. This is the position you find her in most of the time.

Uncle Dave's Fall Break

My younger brother is a sophomore at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He had fall break last weekend and he and 2 of his buddies, Mikias, and Kevin came home with David. They always have a ball. My grandparents came to visit while David was in town. Emma Kate is Mamaw's "live doll".

Emma Kate loved Mikias. He took her for a stroll and sang songs to her.

Kevin is from Colorado and he believes a sled must be involved in anything to make if fun. So, they invented tractor-sledding.

Emma Kate loves her Grammy

Emma Kate is now eating cereal and I was feeding her in her bouncy. But, we end up with more cereal everywhere else and not in her mouth. She bounces way too much. So, we have moved to the highchair.

Grand Times at the Creswell Household

I know, I know it has been an eternity since I have posted. We have been in a whirlwind trying to get our house in Johnson City ready to sell and begin getting our home in Knoxville ready to move into. So, we have set up camp at my parents house in Knoxville. They have been so gracious to let us stay. I believe they are beginning to think we are not going to leave; but would you with breakfast, lunch, and dinner fixed for you? :-) Anyway, we are all doing well. Emma Kate just had her 6 month check up and she weighs 14 lbs. 4 oz. Yes, she is a little petite thing. She now has 2 teeth. She got her first one Sept. 2nd. Then the 2nd one just a couple of weeks later. She is 100% adorable. We are spoiling her, but we don't care. I have a bunch of pictures to post, so I hope you enjoy.She scooted all the way from her playmat to under the coffee table. She does the crab crawl on her back. Hillarious! (I have no idea why this is underlined... sorry)
